Curtis Birmingham, DVM
Animal General is excited to announce the addition of our newest veterinarian, Dr. Curtis Birmingham. Having joined us in July of 2026, Dr. Birmingham specializes in small and large animal surgery and medicine. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024, a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences, Pre-Vet in 2020 from Auburn University College of Agriculture, and an Associate’s Degree in Science, Pre-professional from Bevill State Community College. Each time he received his degrees, both from veterinary school and his undergraduate degrees, he graduated with Honors (Magna Cum Laude).
Dr. Birmingham’s pet family includes an Australian Shepherd named Jasper, a cat named Dorian, and many others. When he is not at the clinic, he enjoys horseback riding, cooking, camping, and traveling. A fun fact about Dr. Birmingham is that he has been riding horses since he was 9 months old.
